Report copyright infringement

HonTruyen commits to respecting and protecting copyrights and related rights as regulated under the Intellectual Property Law of Vietnam No. 50/2005/QH11 and its amendments (Law No. 07/2022/QH15).

This policy regulates the procedure for receiving, verifying, and processing removal requests for content claimed to infringe copyrights on the Platform.

The copyright owner or legally authorized representative (hereinafter referred to as the "Claimant") sends a removal request via one of the following methods:

• Email: [email protected] (preferred - fastest processing)
• Online report form at: hontruyen.com/bao-cao-vi-pham/gui-yeu-cau
• Written notice sent to the official contact address of HonTruyen

To be considered and processed, the Claimant must provide full information as follows:

• Full name and contact details of the Claimant (address, phone number, email);
• Name of the original work infringed and description of the infringing content;
• Specific URL links to the infringing content on HonTruyen;
• Evidence of ownership or legal authorization (copyright certificate, transfer contract, or equivalent evidence);
• A statement by the Claimant: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the content described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law";
• A statement of accuracy: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner";
• Signature (electronic or physical) of the Claimant or authorized representative.

Note: Requests lacking any of the above details may not be processed. HonTruyen will notify the Claimant to supplement within 48 hours.

• Within 24 hours of receiving a valid request: HonTruyen sends a confirmation email;
• Within 48-72 hours: HonTruyen verifies information and performs one of these measures: (a) Remove or disable access to the infringing content, or (b) Notify the reason for not removing if the claim lacks grounds;
• After removal: HonTruyen notifies the User who uploaded the content about the removal decision and reasons.

The User whose content was removed has the right to submit a written counter-notice within 10 working days if they believe the content was removed by mistake, including:

• Identify the removed content and its location before removal;
• Reasons for objection and supporting evidence of legal rights;
• Commitment to legal responsibility if the objection is false.

HonTruyen will forward the counter-notice to the Claimant. If there is no response within 10 working days, HonTruyen may restore the content based on the Platform's assessment.

Claimants submitting removal requests without grounds or with malicious intent for unfair competition may: (i) be rejected for future requests; (ii) HonTruyen reserves the right to claim damages under the law.

All removal requests, verification details, and processing decisions are retained by HonTruyen for a minimum of 02 years, ready to be provided to competent state agencies when requested.
